WebEver
Enables Leading Hosting Service Provider Multacom to
Offer Global Content Delivery Services
San Jose, CA., Feb. 13, 2001
WebEver Inc., a leading infrastructure
software company today announced that Multacom, a leading
hosting service provider with 43 locations in the US
and Greater China, has selected WebEver's Distributed
Web Delivery (DWD) technology to offer next-generation
dynamic content delivery services. TradeFind.com, a
leading Asian B2B Marketplace solutions provider, is
the first customer to benefit from the WebEver DWD technology,
through the Multacom network.
"WebEver's software technology helps
us quickly enable our Asian clients to distribute their
content in the U.S. and vice versa so that our customers
can leverage our global infrastructure," said Kimberly
McDonald, CEO of Multacom. "The WebEver DWD is
cost effective, scalable and flexible. We needed to
get to market fast with value-added services and WebEver's
solution will make it happen."
TradeFind.com will use the Multacom network
for deploying its content. TradeFind.com is an on line
and communication platform for Asian manufacturers to
do business with U.S. and European customers. "Most
of our B2B content is dynamically generated, and WebEver
is the only solution that can speed up this type of
content," said Martin Ting, CEO, TradeFind.com.
"With WebEver DWD enabled CDN service, we have
guaranteed points of presence and more control over
the content flow. We quite frankly did not want to give
up our content to a CDN service," said Jerry Chen
CTO, TradeFind.com. "Plus it is easy to adopt because
there is no content modification required."
