
Multacom
names former Silicon Valley Executive Bruce Burlington
as Chief Financial Officer
Multacom,
a multi-national bandwidth provider and Internet service
provisioning company, announced today the selection
of Bruce Burlington as Chief Financial Officer. Mr.
Burlington's duties focus on managing all aspects of
the company's financial forecasting and reporting as
well as Multacom's overall corporate finance plan which
includes capital structure, financing of acquisitions
and joint ventures.

financial experience and his expertise in identifying
and capitalizing on market transactions will benefit
Multacom as we establish strategic corporate partnerships

Bruce
Burlington has an extensive track record in domestic
and international technology, telecommunications, and
capital market transactions, financial structurings
and operations. He began his career with Citibank in
New York, Europe, and the Middle East and became Capital
Markets Team Leader for Northern Europe for First Chicago
Limited in London, where he directed debt syndications,
private equity placements, and mergers and acquisitions
on behalf of major Euro corporate clients. Burlington
later became head of Investment Banking, in New York,
for PRIVATbanken A/S (The Scandinavian Banking Group),
where he solicited and managed acquisitions primarily
for Northern European clients.
Prior
to joining Multacom, he headed a Silicon Valley venture
firm that structured, launched, turned around, and sold
many companies in the software, peripherals, telecommunications,
life sciences, retailing and consumer products fields.
He also provided guidance for job creation programs
for National Industries for the Blind (NIB) and the
National Institute for the Severely Handicapped (NISH).
Multacom
is a privately held corporation based in City of Industry,
California that operates an OC-3 ATM broadband backbone
network throughout the U.S. and China. Multacom has
established strategic partnerships with several successful
service providers and with these partners has access
to 43 data centers throughout the U.S., Taiwan and China.
Multacom offers comprehensive e-business solutions,
high-speed Internet access, VPNs, co-location, web hosting
services and web development. Multacom's primary market
today consists of businesses in the United States with
a need for access to the markets of Taiwan and China.
Multacom plans to expand its services to the rest of
Asia, Europe, and Latin America in the near future.
