Liping Chen
Founder and Chief Technical Officer

Liping Chen is a founder of the Company, has served as a Director of the Company  since  its  inception and as Chief Technical Officer since November  1999. Mr. Chen also served as President and Chief Financial Officer of the Company from its founding until October 1998, and as its Chief Executive Officer from October 1998 to November 1999. As Chief Technical Officer, Mr. Chen is responsble for overseeing the technological needs of the Company.  From 1989 to 1990, Mr. Chen  was a student Co-op system engineer in the research and development department of Stratus Computers (now known as Ascend Communications, Inc.).  From 1990 to 1995, he was a system developer, project manager and assistant director of networking for MDY Advanced Technologies.  Since 1995, Mr. Chen has been responsible for the technical operation of MULTACOM.  Mr. Chen received a Masters degree in Math and Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts and a Bachelors degree in Navigation from the Taiwan National College of Marine Science and Technology.
